Refund & Cancellation Policy

$70 non-refundable deposit

Any cancellation within 10 working days of the commencement date of the advertised retreat will be subject to accommodation and relevant charges. We regret these additional non-refundable items, however with a cancellation at such a late date these additional costs as mentioned above have already been incurred.
Final Payment

Final payment for remaining balance needs to be paid one (1) month prior to the event. Failure to do so will be an automatic forfeit of your position and loss of deposit and any additional cost (see refund & cancellation policy).
Failure of Payment

All outstanding accounts including additional charges as details within this policy must be paid for within 7 working days of receiving an invoice from Scrap Girls. Failure of payment within these terms will result in Scrap Girls pursuing legal proceedings. All court charges resulting in this action will be included in the claim.
Security
- A Scrap Girls staff member or trusted designated person will always be present in the scrap room area.
- When the last scrapper leaves of a night time the scrap room will be securely locked and reopened again at
- All your belongings left in the scrap room at any time is done so at your own risk. Scrap Girls takes no responsibility for any items left in the scrap room or accommodation rooms if theft or damages occur.
- Lost and found. If any lost items are found we will contact every customer in the attempt to return it. If the item is unclaimed the item will go into the Scrap Girls Creation Station.
Teachers
- If for some unforeseen circumstance the advertised class teacher is unable to attend the retreat Scrap Girls will ensure that a teacher of equal/similar talent and quality shall carry out the class.
- With the change of teachers it must be noted that the style of the class may differ.
Accommodation
- If for some reason the advertised accommodation/venue is unfit for purpose Scrap Girls will endeavor to acquire the services of a similar accommodation/venue in the same region at a competitive price. This shall be done at no further costs to our attendees.
- Although it is noted that Scrap Girls will endeavor to find a suitable venue in the same region, if a venue is not available one in the surrounding areas shall be sourced.
- Scrap Girls will wherever possible accommodate all persons to sleep in a lower bunk, but please be aware that in certain venues this may not be possible.
- Bunk choice is assigned on a first booked, first served basis.
- Share accommodation is provided at all of our retreats. Please be aware that not all people’s nocturnal habits are peaceful. Ear plugs are available at no extra cost if required.
- For an additional, cost single rooms may be provided if available.
- All sleeping accommodation needs to be vacated by 10am on the Sunday morning
- All regulations and restrictions pertaining to the venue will be strictly adhered to.
- Indoor areas are smoke free.

Creation Station
- Upon commencement of a Scrap Girls event all items in the creation station are checked and maintained that they are in perfect working order for your personal use at our events.
- Although we state that all tools are in perfect working order, you use them at your own risk and Scrap Girls does not take any responsibility for any damage or injury they may cause.
- If you damage or break any item or tool, you will be charged the market value of the item to be replaced.
Housekeeping
- All accommodation rooms need to be left by the occupants in the same condition in which it was entered at the commencement of the weekend stay.
- Any additional cleaning fees charged by the venue for a particular room will be charged to all occupants accounts and will not be subsidized by Scrap Girls.
